FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ'S

  • Where do you get your ingredients?
Most if not all of the botanicals we use to infuse our soaps with are grown right in our backyard.
  • Why does soap need to cure?
The soap needs to breathe to allow all of the water to evaporate from it. After the soap is poured, we cut it and place it on an open shelf for 6 weeks to dry before selling.
  • Can our non- profit group use your soaps as a fundraiser?
    Yes.
  • What is the shelf life of your products?
We recommend you use the products within one year. The soap will last longer but the scent will fade.
  • What are the benefits of using handmade soaps with natural ingredients?
All natural soaps are made with essential oils, while regular soap or "cleansers" are made with harsh chemicals. Natural soaps do not contain any harsh chemicals that dry out or irritate your skin. Our natural soaps are packed with nourishing butters and skin loving oils such as shea butter, cocoa butter, grapeseed, olive, coconut and vitamin E oils.
  • Do I need to create an account to purchase from your store?
No. However, if you create an account, you have access to secret sales, valuable coupons and our Loyalty program.
  • Are your soaps made with lye?
Yes. All soaps are made with lye, oil and/or fat. We use nourishing plant oils and butters as our fats. Once the lye and oils are mixed together, this creates a processes known as saponification which neutralizes the mixture producing skin loving soap! Natural soap is chemically a salt, commercial soap is not. It's a detergent usually labeled as "Beauty bar" because they're not legally allowed to call it soap.
  • Do you offer wholesale or custom orders?
Yes, just email us with the details.
